ND has a chance on this one but Long Beach Polly has always been a USC pipeline.

Don't forget Freddie Parrish.

Charlie Weis is a whole new ballgame. I think he can get anyone from anywhere.

But for the most part, Poly has been Trojan country.

Why so few INTs? Did they just never throw to him, or what?

He's only got 3 fingers on each hand. On a more serious note, this guy will be a great corner in college. He is more of a WR now then a CB but he has tremendous athletic ability. The scary this is that Rivals still lists him as the #1 lockdown CB in Cali. Anyway, my prediction is that Donovan is IRish when all is said and done. Write it down and take a picture!

Considering where they stand with the corners they've offered thus far, getting after Warren might not be a bad idea.

"I would say I have an unofficial top seven or eight. That would be Ohio State, USC, UCLA, Oregon, Cal, Arizona State and Michigan," Warren said. "Everything's real even to me right now. I do like all of these schools, but no one has a big lead over anyone."
Guess those transcripts didn't warrant an offer?

"I'd like to see certain match ups," said Warren. "Mainly, I'd like to see my friends playing against each other. I want to see the Cal/USC game, the UCLA/USC game, Oregon/USC and Notre Dame/USC game."
I'm not sure who Warren is favoring these days. Anyone know? LOL

In a huge upset pickup, Scout and Rivals are both reporting that Donovan Warren has committed to Michigan. This has to be a tremendous shock for USC, who routinely grab the best players from Long Beach Poly. USC is sitting on only 14 recruits this year, although they are almost exclusively elite recruits with 11 of the 14 listed as Top 100 on at least one of the recruiting boards. They are still listed as being in contention for 4 of the last 10 elite uncommitted recruits, but are not considered a clear cut favorite for any of them. A class of only 14 is pretty thin, no matter how talented they are, and if USC does not get any of the last 4 elite that they are chasing, there is probably going to be a lot of talk about the “Bush effect”.

yeah - but that probably means RoJo isn't going to Michigan, which is probably a better trade, unless he goes to USC.

RoJo's last 4 picks are all bad as far as ND goes, Michigan, USC, Ohio State, or Florida, but at least with Ohio State or Florida, we would not have to see him every year.

The RoJo case is certainly interesting. Rumors are that RoJo still wants to go to Michigan although he mom wants nothing to do with U-M. I really don't think this will directly effect where RoJo goes, but it might be a small factor.
