Issues With NBC's Coverage

Hi guys how many of you have some issues with the way NBC presents ND games? Below are the things that bug me in which the games are presented:

-Doug Flutie is annoying as he appears to always looking at knocking ND and disagree with any calls that they get e.g. today's game against WF he said a couple of PI calls against WF shouldn't of been called. I think Flutie is almost as bad as Mike Mayock as they both appear to be rooting against ND.

-I can't stand the way the camera always has to focus on the facial expressions of the other teams coach e.g. in today's WF game after every play all we saw was a shot of the WF head coach. Is this really necessary looking at someone's facial expressions after every play especially when its the other teams coach?

-I don't care for Dan Hicks play by play but he could be worse as ESPN's Mike Patrick is way worse as he goes crazy for the other team whenever he calls a ND game.

I don't let them bother me, there are plenty of broadcasters out there that are worse.

Their coverage is terrible. Flutie openly roots for every team ND plays. He can get a big, sweaty dick in the mouth. I actually mute it for most of the game when it's on NBC. Much more enjoyable. How NBC can't do better is beyond me.

Completely agree about Fluite. My 5 year old could provide more insight and she doesn't really even watch the games. I did find it interesting that you mentioned showing the opposing coach. I remember, about half way through the 3rd quarter, if Brian Kelly was even coaching the game. The only coach that I saw on TV was the WF coach.

Always mute...Flutie is a joke. I don't need a rah rah broadcast, but it seems as though NBC has generally presented an anti-ND tilt, maybe by design.

Mayock has always been my favorite color guy. He's great. If your not gonna have someone funny like Gruden or Bill Walton atleast let them be insightful. Flutie sucks.

I really liked Mayock doing the games. But I guess the network thought they had to dumb it down for the casual fan.

I think part of today's problem was the molasses Wake Forrest offense, but it made for the worst one I can remember with Hicks and Flutie. I pointed out to my wife how long it would take Flutie to say anything let alone anything of substance after Hicks would finish with the play by play. Only thing I dislike is Flutie, if they can get rid of him the coverage will be fine. I actually like that there's a pre/post game show on NBCSN.

NBC is the retarded kid you wouldn't trust with a potato gun, let alone give them Carte Blanche to broadcast programming with impunity. Everything they do disappoints me.

Mayocks commentary was smart whereas fluties is simple minded. I liked Pat Haden. You could hear him wishing he had gone to ND.

You could just hear the joy in Flutie and Hicks' voice everytime Wake got some glimmer of hope. Next saturday is going to be unbearable.
