Cam Newton is a mouthy POS! Someone needs to lay a good lick on him to shut him up!

This is impressive fight from the Colts, but the one thing I would do if I took over Indy tomorrow is fire Pep Hamilton. Don't get me wrong: as a Patriots fan, I hope Pep Hamilton stays on the Indy sideline for the next 30 years. But they waste too many downs and risk too many turnovers chucking the ball down the field. It is too low percentage, and from a risk/reward perspective, the payoff just isn't there. There is value in taking the underneath stuff and marching the ball down the field. People criticize Brady for not pushing it downfield a lot, but that is also what makes him so good - possession is valued and uncovered stuff is exploited. I don't think you can be good in modern football just throwing jump balls to covered receivers 30 yards down the field.

This slow start and always having to come back shit is getting old. And it just helps Grigson and Pep keep their jobs.

Yep Pep shoulda been gone a long time ago. Has no idea how to throw quick slants. And also another thing about throwing deep all the time is that if TY doesnt have a few steps and a perfect throw isnt made its fucked, hes short as hell and isnt winning any jump balls out there. Its not like we're throwing it up to Julio or Calvin Johnson. Our offense schemse is destroying this team, the defense fought hard all night and is the only reason we had a chance, which isnt something we're used to seeing

I agree. He's overthrowing everything, which tells me there is some credibility to the broken ribs story.

Pep should have been let go a long time ago. They go to the two TE set and bring in an extra lineman and have success running the ball. They're deep in Panther territory in OT marching to the EZ. They get to 3rd and 1 and instead of using the jumbo formation, they go away from it try to run outside and lose three yards. WTF?
