Oregon Community college shooting

So what's going on with this guys motive? I'm hearing various things...

In places like Chicago, DC, and Baltimore, guns are like a burner phone. After they use the gun any trace of that gun is long gone. They either dispose of it or sell it off as fast as they can. I cannot think of one reason why a gang banger would want to buy a gun the legal way. Its cheaper, quicker, and more private the illegal way. Stricter gun laws would only hurt the people trying to buy guns the legal way.

Sure there are the legal gun owners that go crazy or the legal gun owners crazy son, friend, or family member that has access to the legal guns but I cannot think of any way remedy crazy people having access to guns.

I carry a gun pretty much everywhere that will allow me to carry. People are crazy. I also try to avoid rush hour traffic for the same reason, people are crazy.

I agree that there is a large percentage of people who are either crazy or struggle with making good choices in their lives. That's why I have a hard time getting behind the "give everyone a gun" thinking. I don't want most people carrying a gun.

My wife is a teacher in TN and there was talk of letting all the teachers carry guns in the school. Sounds good in theory until you realize most of the teachers have no business having a loaded gun in school.

All that being said, I'm not sure what you could do to keep the guns out of the "wrong hands" while at the same time not punishing the law abiding, responsible gun owners.

Some kid posted on 4chan yesterday that they were gonna shoot up a college around Philly at 2 PM today so basically every college in the area didn't have class today. I have friends at basically every major college in the area. Pretty fuckin scary. Saint Joes library was evacuated when my friend was in it.

All colleges from Wilmington DE up were on high alert from what i have read. FBI and local pd where in heavy presence.

Wait, you are arguing that it is cheaper to buy a gun on the black market then it is to buy it legally? Because if so you are wrong.
