If you thought this outcome was good, don't get defensive when people say our schedule sucks...

Seriously, root for ND, then root for all the people we played. Having our opponents looking bad in bowl games just makes us look much worse.

true but I'm just glad they lost strength of schedule ain't gonna do us much good now

Yeah, I'm torn. If florida wins, I gotta hear how the SEC is, by far, the greatest conference ever for another year, not to mention the fact that Meyer would be winning a ring in only his 2nd year. If OSU wins, I gotta hear how Tressel is the best game planner in the universe & pretty much anything else that comes out of Buckeye fan's mouth. Pick your poison.

That's okay. They'll all have to shut up for a while when C-Dub wins it all in 2008... (or, dare I hope, 2007.)

In the meantime, Dodger, I have one word for ya: earplugs.

Attending a "small" school here in Indiana....and living in Indianapolis, I don't see how it is not possible to hate Purdue and IU. People always make the case that ND plays a soft schedule and have beat no one and then go out and cheer for a Purdue team that regularly beats up on Ball State......both schools suck, I can at least feel for IU in football as they at least acknowledge they suck. The Big Ten is a very overated conference in football and these bowl games are showing it.....Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Michigan....maybe Penn State were deserving of bowl bids this year.

When you have 29 bowls to fill and play cupcake out of conference schedules they should all be there.
