Recruiting class ranking

I know that as of last week we were in the top 10? for recruiting classes, depending on the source. I was just wondering how often these "rankings" were updated, and if anyone could provide link(s) for where to check.

the team rankings on rivals were updated today (i think they are updated every day) and you can find it on the bottom of the front page of rivals.com

Rivals moved us up with these guys...but bear this in mind: USC was not in the top20 last year until signing day...then they hit the top3.

Recruiting class ranking

USC comes on very strong at the end. But as long as we get 20-25 recruits that Coach Weis wants I'm satisfied. We are ND.

I don't think we should care so much about the rankings, as long as Coach Weis is getting the guys he wants. Besides ranking are always all over the place, one persons number one would be anothers ten. The more you look at this class the more you see the flexablity that these guys have and could move into different spots if the need arises.

ND has quite a few less commitments than some of the other schools, so that should change. It seems like a great class at this early point.

We have fewer commits. The thing to look at is we have the 2nd highest average star in both Scout and Rivals. This being said, we are recruiting higher rated players than in a longtime.

I don't get how WVU is ranked so high. I get that they have 23 commits already, but 14 of them are 3-star guys, w/ no 5-stars and no top 100 players. Va Tech and Auburn too for that matter.

Texas' class is just ridiculous as usual. 23 guys already, w/ 14 4-stars, 5 5-stars, and friggin 8 top 100 players, and the AAA game is still a month away. Thank God Mack Brown can't coach his way out of a paper bag, b/c if they ever had a good X's and O's guy there to go along w/ all those great classes, that team would hardly ever lose imo.

I agree texas is just sick. they should never lose with that type of recruiting.

Personally i think if the chips fall into place and we get our fair share of the guys who are picking between us and state U, we should end up with a top 3 class. Granted, stars arent everything when it comes to how these players end up on the field but i think if u compare teams who get 5 and 4 star players every year and those that get 2 and 3 star players every year, my money would be on the 5 and 4 star players.
