NBA Draft Lottery. An annual holiday in Philadelphia.

Everyone loves Okafor and Towns, but I'd be very tempted to take Winslow #1 personally. Kid just seems like someone who will be a better NBA player than college player. Also, I'm really hoping the Celtics bundle some picks and move up to 8-10 and can take Cauley-Stein.

Predicting NY/LA are some 1-2 order tonight for the record. Need to feed the big markets.

Some people love Winslow. I've seen comparisons to D Wade. He's a kid that should be drastically better in the NBA.

Figured you would have gone with the Jimmy Butler comparison with that Bulls flair haha

Don't hold your breath. Cleveland will get it due to some technicality.

So, so sad that there is so much historical precedent for this:

The ridiculous odds of the Cavaliers winning the lottery four times in 12 years: 1-in-10,000 | For The Win
USA Today said:
The Cavaliers won the NBA draft lottery again on Tuesday night despite having only a 1.7% chance at winning it. It was their second consecutive year landing the first pick, as well as their fourth time winning it since 2003.

It got us wondering — what are the odds the Cavaliers could win the draft lottery four times in 12 years? We took the odds they had to win the draft each year and multiplied them together to get your answer: 0.00012, just a shade over a 1-in-10,000 chance.

In 2003, the Cavaliers were tied with Denver for the worst record in the league, which earned them a 22.5% shot at LeBron James. They won that lottery.

In 2011, Cleveland had the second-worst record in the league behind the Timberwolves. They leapfrogged Minnesota and landed the number-one pick, which they used to select Kyrie Irving.

Last year, Cleveland had the third-worst record behind Orlando and Charlotte. Again, they won the lottery, selecting Anthony Bennett with the first-overall pick.

The NBA draft will take place on Thursday, June 26.

I'm good with Russell or Mudiay at 3 for the sixers. Just need a wing scorer in 2016 and we are set. Really think Embiid turns into one of the best players in the league. He is so skilled.
