Exactly. How many different people have to say it so many different ways? Stay the hell away from ESPN. Don't read their boards. Don't watch Mark May. Just ignore the entity that is ESPN unless you are watching an actual game. Even then, turn the sound down.

I disagree -- the way Florida moves the ball through the air, I think they would have been murder to our secondary. LSU isn't the complete opposite, but they definitely aren't the air-it-out type on O.

Well, you could be right. But statistically the teams are almost identical on offense:

LSU:
Rushing 413 attempts for 1960 yards
Passing 224 of 334 for 2940 yards

Florida:
Rushing 433 attempts for 2084 yards
Passing 229 of 362 for 3091 yards

So I don't think that Florida's high powered aerial offense is all that dissimilar to LSU's. I would never have thought of Leak (or Tebow for that matter) as a bombs away, downfield guy, and I never thought that watching them either. And I would maintain that LSU's defense is better. They were unlucky to lose to Florida.

It's fine to say we aren't gonna win, most people, even here feel that way... I just thought it was funny how they already have excuses just in case ND pulls it out... The extent some will go to make certain there is zero way ND can enjoy success, at least in their own minds... always makes me giggle...

This is what is said for nearly every underdog. WVU last year was a perfect case which a lot people on this board was guilty of. Georgia overlooked them, or WVU won becuase Ga. played bad, or Ga. was afraid of the hillbilly fans or the mountaineer spit copenhagen in their eye or whatever.... Those are nothing but excuses.

If ND wins they are the better team, end of story.

I really feel that this is sad for other fans to always get a good sense of feeling when the irish lose, and when they finally do win (and win the national championship i might add), they must degrade that win as something merely as a fluke, or the other team gave the game away....i hate those people, and especially the african american broadcaster that sits beside lou holtz and never has one positive thing to say about the irish
