Ken MacAfee was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1997. He was a three time All-American, and in 1977 he was the first lineman to win the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. For his career he caught 128 passes for 1,759 yards and 15 TDs and a member of the 1977 Championship team.
MacAfee was the 7th pick in the first round by the San Francisco 49ers. His career in the NFL never panned out playing 2 seasons (29 games) for the 49ers and then his rights were traded to the Vikings. He totaled 46 receptions for 471 yards and five touchdowns.
After football he became a dentist and taught dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania and now owns a practice in Waltham, Massachusetts.
