Who would you rather listen to in a general setting...

1-Jay Z/ Outkast
2-Dave Matthews Band/ Allman Bros.
3-Dixie Chicks/ Garth Brooks
4-Incubus/ Red Hot Chilli peppers

the key to our bet is to consider the artisits NOT the respective genres...

You asked who is better. I gave the two best out of that list. I'd vote Allman Brothers, but they are paired with a DMB, who I can't stand. So I combined them with a group I like. Hey. We get write in votes at the polls, why not here?

RHCP's great, especially in concert.. but I can't say I'm a fan of Incubus. So, I'll give Dave Matthews/Allman Brothers the lead here.

I like Dave Matthews, but my only criticism of him is that a lot of his songs sound the same. But with that in mind, RHCP's "california" theme gets old real fast.

It really depends on what mood you're in. If you like most types of music, it's tough. I can get rid of the dixie chicks/garth brooks one. I listen to the rest of the bands except for the chilli peppers. If I had to pick from one of these choices, i'd go with dave and the allman bros. but not by much.

I use to like DMB till I went and saw them at Soldiers Field a few years back. That was the worst concert I have ever seen in my life. He was way too stoned and they just didn't know when to end a song. Swear to GOD that Crash must have lasted 30 minutes. Very disappointing.

HA! I saw them at the outdoor theater in Tinley Park a billion years ago...and I could not believe how many solos they played; a tamborine solo is just not that interesting. Every song lasted waaaaaay too long and I was counting the hours until the concert ended.

man this really hurts me because outkast used to be the only thing i would listen to . Them and Goodie mob but ive never liked jay z im a 2 pac man . But this day in age rap is garbage and i could never listen to radio rap . i listen to real rock 101.1 in orlando which is peppers and incubus style . this is crazy for me because i always hated rock up untill about 3/4 years ago when i really started trying to stay out of "trouble" .
