This kid gets off the line better than any HS receiver I've seen...its hard to tell speed from video, but OMG I want him in my two minute offense TODAY!

One of the knacks on him is not being able to get off the line against physical receivers

Well, that's gotta be because corner isn't his natural position.

Haha. But it looks to me like he's still growing into his 6'5" frame. Strength will help with that. Too many kids getting written off for be weak/skinny at 17 or 18!

confused...do you mean physical dback....?

In his film, I do not recall anyone pressing him...so I don't have reason to doubt that. But in normal alignment, he eats the initial cushion of the Dback insanely quickly.

With a college QB (who handles the ball more efficiently), this kid could run routes like a slant and because of his initial "pop", size, and radius...no one could defend him.

I suppose if you pressed him, his frame says a college dback likely wins...for now.

He is clearly a DI talent, but there is an entire part of his game HS QBs just can't unlock...they don't handle the ball well enough. I'm telling you...he is a staple part of a two minute offense or a short pass game where the run is choked up. He is money.

Alshon Jefferies like. Don't know if he's that good bust similar style.

To me Boykin= redzone threat, a la Michael Floyd. I saw this kid a few times on campus this year and he reminded me of a bigger Floyd.

If Wimbush is as good as advertised, I see a Wimbush/Boykin connection in the end zone much like the Clausen/Floyd connection.

I see Boykin similar to Corey Robinson, he will be the endzone receiver and will be very good run blocker on the edges with his frame that will make running lanes open on the edges because he's going to be bigger than every DB he sees.

I did see him catch a ball or two in his film that reminded me of Alshon. I couldn't find any old film of Alshon to compare them from the LOS...but I know he can get into a Dback pretty quickly...pretty good comparison.

Per Adam Gorney at rivals, we're sending at least two coaches out to see ESB on Thursday. A very trusted source of his is saying he's leaning towards ND.

Also per Gorney sounds like Stanford has moved on. So it's basically ND and ND at this point.

Rivals - "Had a very, very impressive in home last night with Utah HC". Gorney says ND he feels ND is still the front runner, though.

Irish247 has learned that Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock and linebackers coach Bob Elliott will meet with one of its top targets Thursday evening.

Anaheim (Calif.) Servite four-star wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown, who many believe is leaning toward the Fighting Irish, will host the two Notre Dame coaches.

Next week, multiple members of Notre Dame's staff, led by head coach Brian Kelly, will return for another in-home visit with St. Brown.

USC, Stanford and Utah are also in the mix. However, we're confident St. Brown will choose to be Irish when he makes his National Signing Day announcement on Feb. 4.

Per the 247Sports Composite rankings, St. Brown is the No. 159 overall recruit in the nation, the No. 19 wide receiver in the country and the No. 23 prospect in California from the class of 2015.

SIAP. Garage curls, shit talking, and one-handed grabs? Hands down my favorite player in this class.
