IMO I still like Soso more than all our curent targets.
Soso>Jones> Cronkite.

Jones looks unlikely to come to ND. Cronkite looks like he is gong to be Irish. Soso could end up at ND still. If Soso does come to ND, I could see Cronkite at Safety easily.

Side note.

Does anyone have details on why he decommitted from Miami. He said it was for a reason but not because of the other backs they have committed.

Wiltfong spoke with his coach and his told him that he thinks ND leads but it's close with WVU. He won't be deciding until NSD.

If memory serves more correctly they basically stopped communication and didn't return calls

Sciut: said he will visit Louisville and florida. Would be nice to stay closer to home but willing to leave and experience things.

Another scout one: final visits will be between UF, Nebraska, Louisville or Wisconsin. Sounds like a signing day decision. UF would get strong consideration if they pursue more.

It's such a shame that no one really is jumping at the opportunity to get a bunch of carries here. It may not have always been the focus here, but this is a really dangerous offense going into the next couple of seasons. Very disheartening because all the potential is there for a future heisman on our offense with how we've been recruiting at oline specifically to control games.

Agreed. That being said, Kelly's ability to utilize that strength up front and his duo of elite RB's hasn't been all that good. Up until late this year, Folston had solid but not spectacular numbers, and Bryant was almost invisible (though I think he was hurt later in the year). You see teams like Auburn, Oregon, Georgia, Alabama, even Florida State with Dalvin Cook and Karlos Williams who utilize their RB's and they dominate. Then there's ND, who honestly, outside of 2011 with Wood and Gray, have been rather mundane in the running-back dept.

2012 was pretty good two.

2012 was pretty good two.

Even then, it was pretty good, not good. Riddick was very good for us, but seems to have gotten faster since leaving. Wood was okay, but a took a step back after a very good 2011 year. They also had a major problem putting the ball in the endzone (though that was painfully an issue in 2011 as well).
