Great game so far. Thomas made a dumb call not calling for the fair catch which led to a GB TD. Hope that never happens to Bryant haha. Clinton-Dix also just got schooled one on one by a Seattle receiver for a TD.

And the Browns find another interesting way to lose. Go figure. Only In Cleveland. :(

Another long year at the Factory of Sadness.

The lightbulb and the computer are cool, but I don't know how we lived without NFL Red Zone.

Holy s**t this thread is old. Just have to say...watching the Bears implode before my very eyes is a thing of beauty. I HATE the Bears with every fiber of my being and watching them crash and burn makes salvages this weekend a bit.

The Bears have hit a new low...that is until next week when they somehow out-"suck" this performance. Hey, I thought it was impossible to outsuck the NE game, but clearly I was wrong.

Football season has been pretty interesting so far. I think the NFC is still better than the AFC, but its a closer gap this year.

Crazy that 11/16 AFC teams have a winning record right now. AFC North is wild.

Also crazy that only 5/7 of Eagles, Cowboys, Packers, Lions, Cardinals, Seahawks, Niners will make the playoffs. With the NFC South champ getting the other spot. I could honestly see any of those 7 teams being a team who could get hot in the playoffs and make the Super Bowl.

Wasn't sure where else to post this, but thought this was funny. Might hurt Jonas Gray a bit though. Pretty funny no one claimed him off waivers. I have 0 concerns he'll make an impact in December and January.

This young man needs to grow up. Walking off the field before the game is over is no good. That's the teammate I want that quits on us.

Sorry man that is "The Patriot Way"!

Perfect teammate when he was here last year by all accounts (how was he against the Colts last postseason by the way?), so I have no doubts he will be once again. No-brainer to pick up the 250-pound RB who has produced for you, knows the playbook, and has a good relationship with the coaching staff. He will instantly upgrade the kick return game, and I doubt many teams will want to tackle him come January. Should be a good compliment between the tackles to Gray. Not exactly a fun team to play when they can pound the ball or spread you out, and when they appear to just be getting better every single week.

And if he acts like an idiot again, Pats can cut him at no cost. He's locked in at the veteran minimum, the Pats can't lose in this situation. Pretty positive, however, that he wont act out under Belichick.

If he was such a perfect teammate why didn't they resign him in the off season? Instead they let him go to Pittsburg and he didn't get his carries he wanted there so he left the field to pout like a little kid. Sounds like a guy that I want on my football team. I just don't see the need to add him to the Patriots when you just had a player run for over 200 yards. What kind of message are you sending that player? The Colts just lost Bradshaw for the season and I am glad that we didn't pick up Blount!

Blount had 12 carries, 78 yards, 2 TDs in his first game back with the Pats.

Am I alone on this or is Joe Buck a Green Bay Packers fan? I swear there was a noticeable difference in the enthusiasm level when calling plays for the Cowboys and the Packers.

"Demarco Murray! 12 yards, solid gain."

"EDDIE LACY!!!!! 6 YARDS!!! OH MY GOD!!!"

Then of course there is his huge and extremely annoying mancrush on Aaron Rodgers. Did anybody catch "speaking of praise, it's time to start heaping it on Aaron Rodgers." No how about you remain impartial, unbiased, and professional you stupid, sanctimonious, pompous little man and stop living off of your daddy's name. At one point I seriously thought Buck might jump out of the booth to perform fellatio on Rodgers right there on the field.

Sorry for the rant but I really can't stand Joe Buck. If I ever met him in real life I might punch him in the face. I hate his stupid face and I hate that he has risen to such prominence in the announcing world and is now the voice of the NFC playoffs and the World Series.

Seemed like a good enough thread for this.

Ed Sabol died today at 98. The NFL would not be what it is today w/o Ed and Steve and the amazing legend-building they did at NFL films.

A personal fave:
