Yeah. They have made steady progress over the year. New QB...bunch of younger guys in some cases. They should be proud of themselves for fighting like hell through their entire season. They had no quit in them...

That is the most undeserved 8-4 I believe I have ever seen. No real wins and a loss to Minnesota (really) after a botched "pass interference" call, the absence of which would have resulted in the game's end.

If you think PSU's record is going to make Nd look good, you had better think again. Same for Purdon't. They had the luxury of not playing either Ohio State or Michigan in the same season. I'm really upset that PSU can back their way into a good bowl simply because they're 3rd in the B10. There should be some exception for those bowls too.

You mean they aren't going to the National Championship?

Geez, the way everyone in Central PA was talking over the summer, you would've thought Anthony Morelli was going to lead them to the Promised Land.

I hope to God that whatever SEC team they play throttles them.

They lost quite a few seniors from last year.

You look at their losses and it really isn't anything to be ashamed of.

I hate to say it, but I think we may have a very similar season next year.
I wouldn't mind being 8-4 next year, considering how much talent in our senior class we are losing and our lack of depth and quality in our junior class.

PSU 2006 had a lot more talent coming back from their 2005 season (Posluzny, Hunt, Levi Brown, Tim Shaw, Jay Alford, Dan Connor) than ND 2007 will have coming back from their 2006 season (Not considering seniors eligible for 5th years: Walker, Crum Jr. and Lambert are the only juniors; Other returning starters: Grimes, Young, West)

Notre Dame will most likely lose four defensive linemen, three defensive backs, four offensive linemen and two wide receivers. And that quarterback guy. All starters.

That's way too much turnover. 8-4 would be incredible with those kind of losses.

We will probably not have as solid a defense as them, but there is no way our offense is as bad and our QB will definitely no be as unintelligent as Morelli I was at the game this week, and have seen them play almost every game since I am an alumi from PSU but passionate ND fan. Morelli is talent without a brain.

We will get to see just how talented this coaching staff is next season.

Svo better provide a lot of cheese for the board next year to go along with all the whine.

I think we'll see too that this year's schedule isn't as "weak" as everyone thinks. Lots of talented experience on this squad as well. And to have zero road losses in two years thus far is pretty damn good.
