He's open to ND and understands that an offer to ND is bigger in the grand scheme of things than an OSU one. He may be a tough pull but he will take a close look at ND.

People say this so often, but it seems we rarely even make their top 5. Do they really understand what they say or just say stuff to sound mature? Not saying we miss on this kid, I have no idea, but this is said so often and we rarely see anything come of it.

I understand what you are saying. Yes, it is very early in the process and all of that. I talked to the kid about the offer. He truly does understand what it means to get an offer from ND and how it's bigger for him (being a Columbus kid) than an OSU offer.

- "Shocked. Stunned" at having received an offer from ND.

- Was at the Stanford game. The game was great...so was the food.

- Coaches told him they want a "speed rush end guy".

- The campus is the style he likes. It fits him.

- Is also high on Kentucky, OSU, and MSU.

- Coaches comment on how much they like his motor.

- Plans to decide after his season with things such as relationships, distance, academics.

I think 5 would be a stretch as we have offered only 6. However, with a run to the CFB playoff I think we could get 3-4 and that would be pretty good considering that would most likely be Kraemer, Eichenberg, Hausmann, and maybe Cooper. Maybe cleaning up wasn't the right term but if we get 3-4 of the top players from Ohio in any cycle, thats pretty darn good.

Good point, I was only thinking of those that we already offered and I would expect us to offer those two before its all said and done. I just get this feeling that we're going to clean up the Midwest as a whole if we can make it to the CFB playoff this year.

Yep, its not looking very good right now. With that said I'm hopeful (doesn't mean much) that Cooper and Robertson don't end up at the same school.

I think it is vital that we sway Robertson away from OSU and that we land King. Kelly has done great at recruiting however the lack of DE recruiting has been detrimental and in 2016 there is some great talent that we need to land if we are going to compete with the big boys

I saw him in person and while I was watching the game as a whole and not paying attention to him, he didn't jump out to me.
