Why so much ND hate on Rivals?

I have a Rivals account and comb the forums from time to time and I've noticed that there seems to be just tons of anti-ND comments.....I don't understand how anyone can say ND gets favoritism....I didn't see Florida bumped down the polls for getting lucky against SC?

By time to time, I hope you mean every second of every day?

I post there sometimes and it wears you down what these people come up with.

More recently it's been the Florida fans, but the tOSU fans seems to get their anti-ND sentiment in as well.

Let them hate. That means we are relevant again. ND is in the NC hunt. Enjoy it. They were laughing at us two years ago and saying we would start 0-6. Now we've come up and all of a sudden our schedule is weak. It's funny. Really it is.

True that, and out of most of the obsessed ND haters the majority are buck fans. I gues having a elite program with smart kids who are not mixing it up with the law all the time just don't sit right with them.

when you are one of the elite teams...and lets face it we are wether we are 12-0 or 5-7 they are going to hate us...ask people from other countries about tosu or um or alist of others...they don't know who your talking about...metion ND they know...if we are doing well its because we are lucky,have a weak schedule, are shown favortism (which by the way is always a favorite) fill in the blank here...if we are doing badly its because we can't get talent here do to our regs and requirements...kids don't want to come here...and I even hear from my own bretheren how there is nothing to do in the bend!...give me a frickin break....bottom line

So I am NOT the only one who has noticed this??? Remember the backlash they had when CW said that there is no reason for ND to join the Big 10 since ND is a national school why regonalize them??? tOSU fans were insane with anger with that comment as it was "of course a tOSU bashing comment"... even though he said straight up that tOSU and Mich are NOT regional schools...

I don't even want to how they are spinning CW saying he wants Mich to win the big game this weekend which I heard he reportedly said...

the complex they have is just laughable at times... EVERYTHING about them and their program somehow comes back to ND and the comparrison

that's my point in part... he didn't say ANYTHING about tOSU being regional months back either... that didn't stop the fans from foaming at the mouth about it... can't wait to see how they spin this new one

How many thread titles contain the word "hate"?
It's the most overused word on college football forum websites.
Genuinely felt or not by most, I don't understand it.
I don't really care for lima beans....but I wouldn't say I HATE them.
I believe that hate is an emotion that one must involve oneself in, showing diligence and devotion. If you truely hate another college football team, then go to the fuckin' athletic admistration office of that University and stage a sit-in protest.
Puts some passion in it. Invest all of your bodily energy and mental processes.
In other words, HATE Like A Champion Today.
Me, hate involves more energy than I actually feel for another University or their godamn football team.
Indifference is my way of "hating" something I could care less about.

Reminds of my days living in the North End of Boston.
