You have no idea of what you're talking about. The Air Force squad has been on the field THE ENTIRE 3RD QUARTER and has 0 points to show for it on 31 plays. How is that poor defensive play?

Air Force got the ball to start the 2nd quarter.

Air Force had a 17 play, 63 yard drive that lasted 9:04 that ended up in a blocked FG that was returned for a Touchdown.

Air Force then got the ball after the Irish TD and had a 15 play, 65 yard drive that lasted 5:47 and ended up with a turnover on downs.

That's 32 plays, 128 yards and 14:51. 0 POINTS. The only thing the defense did wrong in the 2nd quarter was the two penalties. That's it.
