It's been awhile since I've had a general contest or giveaway aside from the weekly Pick'em contests. That said, I'm in the giving mood with Christmas just over a month away and that makes it perfect timing to have another awesome IrishEnvy Contest!
This contest is dubbed the "Give To Receive" referral contest and for everyone that completes the requirement, you're name will be entered in a drawing to win a copy of Tim Prister's The New Gold Standard: Inside Notre Dame's Magical 2005 Season. I just finished this book myself and it's a very solid read packed with lots of cool stuff on Charlie Weis' initial season coaching the Irish.
How the contest works
In order to qualify for the contest, you simply must refer ONE new member to the site between now, Friday, November 10th and Sunday, December 17th. In addition to that new member registering here on IrishEnvy.com, they must make ONE post on the forums.
Sound simple enough? It is! I'm sure you've got one friend that likes Notre Dame. If not, you probably should look for some new friends because it's no fun sitting home on Saturday afternoon rooting for the Irish all by yourself!
How to receive credit for your referral
This is by far the most important part of the process, because it's the only "receipt" that will verify that you actually referred the person to the site. When a user registers with IrishEnvy, one of the fields asks for a referrer.
The MUST put in your IrishEnvy.com registered username in order for you to get credit!
They're is absolutely no ifs, ands or buts regarding this requirement. If they don't do it, I can't track and verify it, and you will not be entered into the contest! After your new member registers, please throw a post in this thread with the member you referred so I can keep track of them in the post below.
That's it! Oh, and don't cheat. If I catch you cheating, I will disqualify you from the contest and most likely ban you from the site unless I'm in a good mood. Get to it! ONE person.
