I was hoping for something close to a shutout today, but a freshman and a shitty QB have once again shredded our defense.

In a way I wish would drop just to motivate these guys.....this is not a powerhouse ACC team this is the basement of the ACC and they are looking like world beaters. We don't deserve the ranking and Weis's bitching looks very stupid right now. Please someone step up and make plays.

It isn't a lack of motivation. On D (and special teams D) it's a lack of talent and discipline and good coaching. Fire Minter and keep recruiting hard. That's all you can do.

Some of the sloppiness on O (and yes, despite Brady's gaudy yardage and TD stats, there's been a lot of sloppiness) is inexcusable, though. No talent or coaching deficiency on O. Just bad execution.

To me even talking about the rankings is bitching, he made a point about dropping in the polls. This team deserved and deserves to drop in the polls....we aren't playing sound football and other 1 loss teams are. That is what I meant by bitching.

This shitty QB is a former Cornhusker who is the only person in Nebraska school history for throw for 300 yards. He's not some scrub. Not to mention, our defensive backs can't cover his receiver, so he's having a field day.

Also, as bad as this is and as disgusted as I am with the team, it doesn't give license to just say anything stupid you want. Weis's complaint from two weeks ago is invalid because his team is laying an egg TODAY? At the time, and after last week, his comments seemed perfectly valid. They wouldn't be valid if he made them tomorrow.

And as for fearing Air Force more than USC, that's just stupid. Air Force is not a good team. If they beat us, SC will beat us a lot worse.

I thought Tommie Frazier put up just barely over 300 once in a game on like 11 passes. Maybe I am wrong but I thought he did it.

We barely beat UCLA at home then...how is it different?????

So is Tennessee not a good team too since Air Force nearly beat them?

Yes, he is some scrub. He's on a 1-7 team whose only win was a 3 point escape against Furman, and who on that 1-7 team is SPLITTING QB DUTIES. This guy isn't even Trent Edwards, where we can argue, eh, maybe he's not so bad. This guy sucks. I saw his numbers. He's bad. ND just can't play defense.

UCLA is a hell of a lot better than UNC.

And hey, newsflash genius, Air Force played more games after their near-miss in Knoxville. Check how they did. They're not good. Ball State scared Michigan today. Guess what, Ball State sucks too.
