Get up, watch the early games, get the snacks out and pop a beer or two (or three) before the game starts. During the game I drink beer throughout and drink some Irish whiskey when we score. Also I get yelled at by the wife for yelling (and maybe a few curse words) at the television which is funny because when she watches her team she cusses like a sailor.

Most games will be on DVR while we are at my daughter's soccer games. Almost all of her games are in the afternoon. Other than that just hanging at the house. I don't watch ND games with other people. I want to watch the game not talk.

I agree 100% I never understood how some of my buddies would wanna go to a bar to "watch" a game that's not really watching to me. Always thought that was the A.D.D. way of watching a game but eh to each their own.

Haha You better sew that fleece on her!

Might I suggest a staple gun? Fast and efficient.

Blind stitching is a pain in the ass and I don't think that a Singer could handle the bulk of a human body, no matter how slender.

No idea, as I just moved to the west coast. When I lived in St. Louis, I had a pretty good routine - especially for increasingly-frequent night games.
Watch Gameday and the early Big Ten game at the gym.
Catch some of the best mid-day action at home in between running errands/hanging with my 3 yr old/playing football with him in the park.
Hit a local pub with wife and 3 yr old for an afternoon snack. (or watch the game at home if it was a 3:30 start).
If a night game, put kid to bed after the first quarter and then pound PBRs until the contest was in hand one way or the other.
Log on to IE for the post-game rehashes while watching the end of the ABC national game and/or the the postgame SportsCenter.
All of this happens in my early-Weis-vintage Kelly green Champion leprechaun shirt with armpit holes that seem to keep growing.

But now that I'm two hours later, I'm unsure what to do. Especially after the game. What do you do when you've been pounding beers for three hours and have kids at home and it's 8:00 and football's pretty much done for the day? Go to bed?

Pre-game: Pace nervously

First half: Pace nervously, shout obscenities at TV screen

Halftime: Pace nervously

Second half: Pace nervously, shout obscenities at TV screen

Post-game: Revel in win, think about next week's game, then pace nervously

I always wear some type of ND gear: pants or a shirt or a hat.

My wife surprised me with this for game days:

My son is expected to arrive near the end of Sept. so he's prepared for game days with dad.

Very cool! My wife & I are due September 18. This will be a strange year for my my wife and I.
My wife and father in law have been ushers for 12 seasons. She has the best spot, on the field, near the field goal post. She's taking this season off and can return next season. For the last 5 seasons since we've been married I've driven to South Bend with them and buy a single ticket. I've been to every home game the last 5 seasons. It will be fun starting a new gameday tradition for us.

We're anxiously awaiting our little Irish fan!
