I personally think this move is long overdue. Furthermore, getting the gig with the Spurs is a fantastic opportunity for Hammon; model organization with one of the most respected GM and head coach along with team-oriented players. I don't know how well she will do but certainly hope she does well and along the way opens up new doors for the remaining half of the world.
