will be interesting to see how far they drop......will they drop 10 spots like ND did after UM? ND was 2/3 in the polls when they lost at home to a RANKED (and undefeated) Michigan. Auburn is 2/3 in the polls and lost at home to an UNRANKED 1 loss (ok, it was USC) Arkansas.#2 Auburn was a 14 point favorite and lost by 17.
and if he got his clock cleaned and was out for the game or worse, the season? now you're back to last year when Rhema went out. Sorry, it ain't worth the risk.Makes sense, actually. With Zibby out, who has the best hands combined with the best speed? Shark. I like it.

yeah, so what? his hands suck....never liked him back there either.By that logic, Zibby shouldn't be returning punts either.
you cant tell me there's no one else on the team that can field a punt as well as your best WR. It's not a neccessary risk. I bet Quinn has pretty good hands....why not put him back there? Different story?Injuries happen. At some point, you just have to take that risk. If you're not gonna let your best players play, why have 'em out there at all?
Yes. Shark's faster than Quinn.I bet Quinn has pretty good hands....why not put him back there? Different story?
Is it because 1. quinn is not dependable over 10 yards, or 2. weis wants just want 3-4 yard gains our offense is like this?

That's possible... that punt was from inside ND territory, and he knew it was gonna be a short kick that would probably be a fair catch.know what....I think CW sent the shark out there to fair catch and nothing more. he did fair catch, right? it was deep in our end and I wonder if Weis didnt want to risk a turnover so he sent a great pair of hands out to FC and make sure we got the ball. Whadda ya think? In that case its not such a bad thing though he was still open for an idiot who ignores the FC signal.
He is doing this in an effort to keep the defense off the field as much as possible.
