Y'know, I just can't help myself. Seeing that picture always sends me into a fit of silly, uncontrollable giggling... the kind of giggling that frightens friends, co-workers and my girlfriend.

And I don't care. :)

Purdue, I hope you NEVER fire that man. I want to see that look on his face every time we play you.

If ND is up by any significant amount I see Both Prince and Aldridge getting about 5 carries.

I'm excited for Galvin and Neal, I don't see Donald picking ND over Tenn. Hopefully I am wrong on that because I would love to land the beast. Could really use Donald and Wilson as LBs in the near future. Those two as our OLBs would be a dream come true.

Donald is not visiting. He has pushed his visit back to the Stanford game.

Correct.

Trattou, Neal, Summers Gavin.

One key to this game, and it is rather obvious: punish Matt Painter. It worked in the second half vs. Stanton. If these spread option QBs are going to prance around, make them pay for it.

Purdue will get another dose of too much Brady Quinn.

Just read the paper today (Indy Star).
They thought that Painter would be able to handle the crowd today since he has already had road starts last year against Wisconsin and Penn State. By comparison, Notre Dame might be "a somber cathedral". I doubt it.

How bad is Indiana? 35-0 to Wisconsin at the half.
How bad is Mississippi State? Down 35-0 to LSU in the middle of the second quarter.
How bad is Sparty? Down to Illin'-oy at the half.

You've got to take anything they IndyStar columnists say with a grain of salt. While they aren't completely anti-ND, they often write for shock factor and to get buzz. You should see the drivel they write about the Colts and Pacers.

This is potentially a statement game for us. Hopefully, we'll not come out flat and can get ahead of Purdue quickly. I also think we work hard at establishing the ground game today. That said, the Purdue secondary is weaker and inexperienced, so it could be a major air day.
