Per ISD, he reach out to ND and sent tape to them. They reciprocated interest by asking him up for a visit. A name to keep an eye on.

just now saw this profile. I posted it the visit list but he said he'd visit during his spring break with his family

just watched the film and i can see why the staff is interested

idk if anyone has the motor this kid does at the OT position.

does well engaging inside and running his feet through contact. also looks to have pretty good speed for pulls, and perimeter blocks seem pretty natural, kid's been well coached

looks to be a little suspect with consistent pad level, but that's common for high school and also looks to need work in pass pro, but i think this is definitely a guy that coach Hiestand would be very happy to have.

This kid gets an offer no matter what, IMO. If Harry isn't through the roof on this I will really be amazed. This kid may be the most athletic high school tackle I have ever seen. He is off the charts, speed, strength, footwork, "kneebender" (as Harry says with one word); not only does he have his share of pancakes, but he has a lot of opponents he just drove out of bounds. That is hard to do unless you are fast and strong!

Haven't seen his film, but looking at his size and hearing people mention his athleticism, anyone think he could be a DL for us? Maybe he'd be at the top of the board for OL, but were definately in more need of DL than OL in this cycle.

While the need for DL is greater than OL, its not such a pressing need that we need to convert this kid to fill spots. We brought in 3 DT's last cycle and shouldn't have a problem getting 2-3 this cycle.

You know if he sent his tape, he's definitely interested in ND. I wonder if we just missed this kid or knew about him but hadn't gotten around to looking at his tape?
