I mean no offense to Michigan but this isn't the same caliber of USC team that dismantled us by 31 pts three straight years. And yet I think this loss is far worse then those just because we are making a good team look like world beaters.

This isn't "shit happening" this is totally get outcoached and destroyed and not coming into this game prepared.

doesnt matter how, just that we're beat today.....losses happen, least we're not 0-3 or something?!

Okay I am going to stop watching for awhile just like I did in '93 with the Boston College debacle. Hopefully they will put it in gear and come back, but not get screwed on a bad call.

I agree with most of this. Minter has a lot of explaining to do. To place two average CBs out on islands with two of the fastest recievers in college football is inexplicable. It's just a given that safeties should help CBs out unless CBs can be completely trusted (meaning they're both talented and experience). It's one thing to give up the first Manningham touchdown, but on the last two the coverage looked the same. I'm sure Debord (our OC), must have been sitting there wondering what was going on...with Minter.

This has ruined my whole football year...the reason why I am so upset is that this is the type of game that shapes the way seasons go, players start to doubt themselves and coaches. I just hope we don't go up to East Lansing and drop an egg. On that last play for example, Jeff S. just pushed his man rather then blocking him...he has obviously quit on this game, and thats not the attitude that I like to see....in fact no one seems pissed off about this on the sidelines for the Irish.

At least we don't have to hear anymore about Brady and the Heisman and if ND is overrated...we solved those issues today.

Ah, K-Mac. You're right on task with me. This is my silver lining.

Next week they're on the road against a team that has owned them for the last 9 years. We'll see just how good this team really is and how they respond against MSU.

Too many penalties, not enough McNeil and Walls. This Michigan team is very very good and that game in Columbus is going to be fierce. Both of those teams could very well be unbeaten.

Disappointing on many levels. The first quarter might have been it. Quinn is getting pounded like he did his first two years and the secondary looks much the same as the last two seasons, at least today.

Gotta beat MSU.

That was a gift Td. Two qeustionable calls.

When Haden is questioning the calls, you know something's wrong.

The 4th down Int. call was a gift!

Good catch by McNigh, while being absolutely mugged!

Questionable. My bad.

But the 4th down call, even though it was interference, was an uncatchable ball. The ball was at least 5 yards out of bounds.

The next call was also bad because, again while there was a hold, McKnight held back to get the ball. I don't know what that would have been, but he shouldn't have had the opportunity in the first place because of the first bad call.
