Hope all is well with your son. I can relate to what you are going through. Our daughter who is 14 mos old was just diagnosed with Leukemia in the beginning of August. She also has down syndrome and the downs kids are 15-20 higher risk to get the type of leukemia she has. She is also more likely to do better in fighting it b/c of the downs. She is doing a 6 mos chemo treatment that has already started. Her second round actually starts tomorrow. All I can tell you is remember a lot of people are praying for you and your family and know that God will take care of you. It's what my wife and I keep trying to tell oursleves everyday. I hope everything goes well and we are praying for you as well!

I too have been through this with my own son. My heart and prayers go out to you, your family and Andrew.

My son was diagnosed at 2 yrs. old with pluero pulmonary blastoma (lung cancer). It was a hard fought battle and I have truly believed that all the prayers played a part in his recovery. He is now 7 and doing well. I have always thought of the other families who are dealing with what we went through, and Andrew will definitely be thought of from us.
