I'd root for the 49ers if Jim Harbaugh wasn't a whiny little bitch

I'm just giddy for Sunday. Both games are going to be amazing either way.

You sound pretty butthurt over there. Did Tom Brady reject your advances?

I have hated Brady for years. He is a classic d-bag who left his PREGNANT girlfriend for a model. He is a CLASSY guy #eyeroll.

He also went to Michigan. Do I NEED another reason to hate him, and his lying, cheating, scheming scumbag of a coach?

They split up before she knew she was pregnant. He was in the hospital when she gave birth. She's also an actress. Not that it makes breaking up any easier, but its not like he broke up with his high school sweetheart to date a model.

Hate on Belichick all you want for Spygate, but without looking it up, I'm pretty sure from Spygate-present that the Pats have the best record in the league. Guy can coach either way.

No NFL titles for the Patriots since they were caught in Spygate. Perhaps it's a coincidence.

I'm torn on how I feel about that to be honest.

If you look at the six years pre-SpyGate which are 2001-2006 (lets ignore 2000 as it was BB's first year and he didn't have Brady), and compare them to the six years after SpyGate which are 2007, 2009-2013 (lets ignore 2008 without Brady) and the results are very similar.

2001: 11-5 (won Super Bowl)
2002: 9-7 (no playoffs)
2003: 14-2 (won Super Bowl)
2004: 14-2 (won Super Bowl)
2005: 10-6 (won division, lost in Divisional Round)
2006: 12-4 (lost in AFC championship)

So we've got 70-26 in those six years. 3-0 in the Super Bowl, one loss in AFC Champ, 1 loss in Divisional Round, 1 year of no playoffs.

2007: 16-0 (lost in Super Bowl)
2009: 10-6 (lost in Wild Card round)
2010: 14-2 (lost in Divisional Round)
2011: 13-3 (lost in Super Bowl)
2012: 12-4 (lost in AFC championship)
2013: 12-4 (currently in AFC championship)

So we've got 77-19 in those six years. 0-2 in the Super Bowl, one loss in AFC Champ, 1 loss in divisional round, 1 loss in Wild Card round, and of course one year yet to play out.

I think its more of the Pats catching more breaks in their 2001, 2003, 2004 Super Bowls, and not catching them in the 2007 and 2011 Super Bowls than anything else. Really all five of those Super Bowls could have gone either way. The record post-SpyGate is actually better, and how far they have gone in the playoffs is virtually the same as before SpyGate. Really just comes down to winning the close games in the Super Bowls which could be more of a product of the fact that they haven't had the dominant run game and defense like they used to have.

And to give the devil his due, there's no denying that Belichek has been extraordinarily successful, and I can't believe it's all because he taped opponents' practices. Likewise Brady's success; apart from his Michigan-ness, he really hasn't come off like an ass, as much as I wish he would. If anything, he reminds me a Derek Jeter-type: keeps his distance emotionally, says the right thing to media, works hard, is a team player.

Yeah, I think Brady is an okay guy overall. I wasn't a fan of his at first, but he's grown on me as I've had to deal with the media-love of him here since 2001. As a player, I went from not liking him, to indifferent, to really respecting him after 2006 cause he had literally no one on offense and they still got to the AFC conference championship.

No one ever wants to give him a high-five though.
