Newsome's first punt was about 45 yards, but was returned 74 yards for a touchdown.

Newsome, 4.0 GPA, Student Body President, and he didn't go to the SEC?

So what you're telling me is that I shouldve tuned in to see the punter?

Anyone else think it odd that we only have the punter in the game?

Only if you want to see the Irish's future punter/placekicker. And they are still playing if you want to watch....I guess it depends on what your options are, lol

I missed his middle punt, but his first was about 45 yards, and his third was about 50. And the extra point was good -- booming, though not very straight. The one kick off I saw went out of bounds at the five.

Boomed a 27 yard FG through to pull East squad within 14. Kickoff was a squib at end of half, to the 8.

They talked about his 4.0 QPA and his being student body president; how the coach saw him at a clinic and offered him, how he committed after an hour long discussion, and how ND was the place he always wanted to go.

Bobby Okereke is killing it. Between him, Schultz and McCaffrey I hate Stanford

The talent in this bowl is lacking quite a bit compared to the other all-american games. There is not even a ND target in this game, only a punter.
