I forgot to mention. The defense is looking a lot better this year whether you agree or not. There is speed in the linebacking unit, our secondary looks quicker (aside from Richardson) but our defensive line has looked non-existant.

BTW, we're playing one of the best offensive lines in the nation. Gardner is going to be a top flight tackle in the league.

I agree. Hopefully the defense comes out with a purpose and gets a turnover or at least a stop. If we did that and scored, we finally put GT and the crowd on edge. That's what Weis hoped to do with the opening drive.

Saying they look better this year over last year isn't exactly going out on a limb SVO.. I'm worried that we weren't able to get ANY pressure on ball and they were running on us..

i think Thomas looked good at LB...I would also agree about the secondary. Johnson is just a freak. He makes plays, its just about limiting them.

I know Crum made the tackle there but that is were I miss Brandon Hoyte....that dude was the screen master and prolly would cut that play down as soon as he caught the ball.

This is Irish football....looks like that was their emotional burst that kept them in it...that last drive of the half was killer it appears.
