Rivals has readjusted their rankings due to those that were academically eligible, made it to campus, etc. Notre Dame jumped from #8 to #6 passing Penn State and LSU.

Cool. I just checked out Rivals and I can't find the updated list, but do you know whether there was any movement within the top 5 itself?

It should not have had any effect. LSU's in Baton Rouge not Nawlins. Most recruits are homegrown or come from neighboring states that deal with hurricanes (and tornados) regularly.

Katrina hurt Tulane.

Katrina hurt Tulane badly. I feel sorry for those guys. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
