Playstation NCAA 14 Dynasty

I tried last night and got the same error. No dice. I then backed up my other dynasties and tried deleting all my files again. No dice.

It seems like the problem is when it attempts to download the dynasty files and it immediately fails.

I have a couple ideas, but I am so slammed Monday through Thursday that I don't have time to mess with it.

I might be able to **** with it some more tonight after lab.

If it seems like I'm playing NCAA 14 a ton (you see me on PSN), realize when I get home I check the auction house on Ultimate Team, post more auctions, then go do my homework / real work. My PS3 is on, but I'm only checking the coin transactions for a minute or so every hour or two.

Yeah, I was having similar problems with the downloading failing the first time the dynasty corrupted on me.

Maybe if it's working for Dre, EA can manually get in and transfer the commish status to him temporarily so he can try and advance/reset.

As much as it might suck, we may have to start a new dynasty. Not sure. What do you guys think? That file might just be corrupted. I'd be willing to try setting one up for everyone if that's the consensus. I just wanna get back to playing with y'all.

I have to work all day tomorrow, but when I get home I'm going to manually install the dynasty files as downloaded from EA's teambuilder site. If this doesn't work we're going to have to restart.

It didn't work. What do you guys want to do? The time demands of a broken dynasty is much greater than running a working one. As is I get my enjoyment from UT. This has been more of a pain than a source of fun or enjoyment.

Well, how about this as a suggestion?

We do a new draft, one in which we can pick any team in the country. (I would say we just pick, but there might be multiple people who would want Notre Dame). Then, I'll build a dynasty and invite everyone and run it since I obviously have the time (with as much as I seem to check in). Same settings, rules, advances, etc. Same everything just with different teams to keep the interest up? I might even be able to rustle up a few more of my buddies if it's "any team / favorite team".

Thoughts?

That's fine by me, but the reason we did a league was to get more player versus player games. Picking around the country didn't allow for that; we were playing the computer predominantly. Clever scheduling didn't solve this as you have only so much wiggle room.

I'm fine with you running this one. I'm too busy these days to invest a lot of time if it doesn't "just work" (tm).

I would suggest we step it up a conference. Still play in a league, but pick a major instead of a minor. Or limit it to two of the majors. We should have AT MINIMUM 3 PvP games per each regular season (not counting conference championship games).

EA can't try to manually advance the week for us, or have them try to change the commissioner and try an advance that way? I wouldn't want to give up on the season, but if all options are spent then I guess thats what has to happen.

Sounds like a hell of a bargain. I would have given ya $20-30 and probably doubled my money on Ebay or sell it back to my buddy at the same price so he could make a buck on it. He buys/sells toys on Ebay and at conventions and makes a **** ton of money. Has his house paid off at 30 years old with 5 cars in the driveway

I'm for whatever the majority wants. I'm pretty easy going and just eager to get back at it. It stinks we lost the season but there's nothing we can do about it.

Does everyone want to just start over with the American Conference teams we had? Change to a different conference? Pick our own teams from around the nation? I will say if we play teams from different parts of the country is decreases our user vs. user season games but increases our user vs. user bowl games. Please let me know.

I don't know if I'm on board for starting from scratch yet, but if I did I'd be more inclined to begin with a different conference. I'd like to take a team like Texas State, thats kind of my team to build up.

I'm cool with restarting. My opinion is that splitting us into 2 different conferences would work best. If we have 8 people committed, we can put 4 in one conference and the other 4 in another.

Both have a championship game, Andy could play his Longhorns, etc. I like the idea of taking small schools and working our way up to bigger jobs. However, what I've always found is that it's hard to stay motivated and excited about playing if you aren't playing a team you have even a remote interest in. That being said, all of us are Notre Dame fans so if there is more than one person who wants Notre Dame we'd need to redo a draft. If we stay with the American conference we can just start over with the teams we drafted. So, here is what I see moving forward:

1. Start over, stay American conference, stay teams we are.
2. Start over, everyone go in ONE conference like before, just perhaps a different one.
3. Start over, pick teams from wherever you want.
4. Start over and take teams from two different conferences that play each other in a bowl (i.e. the Big XII and the Big Ten).

Let me know what you guys would like to do, majority wins. Please do so quickly, I'd like to be able to set it up and launch it tomorrow if possible.

Ok, dynasty created and invites sent. My best buddy is going to play as OU so if he hasn't logged in yet (Boomer7676) please leave them for him to pick up. I believe Odywon will be Texas, and I am rolling Texas Tech. We're going to do Big XII vs. Big Ten (since they play the Texas Bowl vs. Each other unless they are in the BCS.)

I may have forgotten the creation of a Big XII title game so I will check and if so I will recreate and re-invite. Anyway, Wednesdays and Sundays, by Midnight. Get your games in folks!

Well...ok. For some reason you cannot create a BigXII title game...

Edit: you have to have a full 12 teams to schedule a conference title game. So, for year one the Big XII won't have a title game. But, we'll look into adding to teams in year one and scheduling one. Well...ok. For some reason you cannot create a BigXII title game...

Need at least 12 teams I think with two different divisions. As soon as you bring a 12th team in it splits the conference into two divisions and you can add the title game.

If you want to add a Big 12 title game, how about just adding those two other teams they need? I might be interested in moving UTSA or Texas State into the Big XII and playing as one, plus it would make sense geographically. You could probably move both teams in actually.
