I'm thinking the Browns will pound Buffalo and it seems wierd to think that. The Browns. As in Cleveland. Hmmmm? Oh well, I'm going with it.

Hell of a punt return. Wow.

I knew he was gone once I saw that the punter was the only guy left to beat.

Can you imagine the heat you would get in the locker room if you got brought down by the punter twice in a game, losing two td's?

Jackson was on waivers in your league?

This is a 'Die Hard' football fan type league. There are only 8 of us in the league. All friends. Tight rules. Roster limitations, TD heavy, limited waivers/free drops, no trades. You can drop/add up to 3 players total on the season unless the player is injured. Then you can drop them without counting it. And they have to miss a game first. Best part is you have what some would consider a stacked roster. Bad part is, everyone has a stacked roster.

That's pretty much the opposite of what we do in my "Die Hard" league.

Most really competitive leagues you want lots of trades and waivers. Die hard guys that really pay attention to the game can get advantages like picking up Robert Woods or Thompkins. Those guys are probably both going to score double digits this week and in your league they will be on waivers while drafted guys like Dwayne Bowe and Miles Austin start instead (who both are having off years)? That doesn't sound competitive... it sounds kind of boring.

No offense, my man. But Jackson is a high end #2/ low end #1 fantasy RB. He is owned in 100% of ESPN leagues and has scored double digits in every game (including two TD's tonight) this season.

Either way, you will be happy with that pickup.

It is boring. Lol. The Die Hard part is claimed by some of the members. The comish prefers it to be all about the draft. Study so you know your **** and don't make a draft mistake. I've been debating Jackson for a few days but it is my last drop. As far as points, its not ppr and only 1 pt per 25 yds. He won't have the yards, but the TD trumps it all.

Fantasy football entails a ton of luck, along with a rash of injury created situations. Even if you are the most knowledgable owner out there, you are still going to need pickups to supplement your draft if you want a winner.

Just because you need pickups to win doesn't mean you don't know your **** at the draft. Just the opposite in my opinion. Pickups should supplement your draft, where you replace a couple of your reach guys that bust with waiver wire studs.

The only real roster moves happen in the first few weeks when its a free for all to get whoever looks to have a good season that isn't drafted. And there is no waiver order. First come first serve.

You should leave that league next season, homie.

I see very little redeaming qualities in that setup. High scoring, PPR, Waiver-friendly leagues are where its at. If you are a guy that really pays attention and watches the games, then you should be rewarded for it.

How much cash is involved in this charade?

I'm all for action. There are days I have ADD. Its only a $35 fee. I've fared pretty well so far. Came in last my first season after joining and have been near the top every season since.

The Brownies better put some points on the board here for me. Losing by a half point would suck.
