Paul Johnson is running his game plan to perfection as Georgia Tech is up 21-20 going into the fourth, burning clock deep in UNC territory.

The Mean Green of North Texas have scored twice on special teams against #9 Georgia; all tied up at 21.

Louisville has put up 58 and pitched a shutout thus far over FIU with 10 minutes left in the fourth.

Ohio State doing the same against Florida A&M; 69-0 end of 3rd. Crazy.

I will call it. Ohio State is the best team in the country. They will be in the BCS NC game come January.

ASU is having a let down game, but I think ND shod beat them. Stanford is just on another level than ND though.

It may be a joke but 50 ppg isn't. Also, they put up great numbers the last two weeks with a second string quarterback, which couldn't be said for probably any other team in the country. I believe they are as advertised, which I hate saying because I can't stand the Buckeyes.

Bama only up 11 at home vs Colorado St. Let down game. Don't have to crush every team you play, a win is a win.

Yeah, that Michigan/UConn game is bumming me out; not the score, which I love, but it tends to show that if you contain Gardner, he's just not very good. He might get a run or two up the middle, but he's really nothing special unless he gets a half a field open in front of him. We did an awful job of contain and we knew better.

We also played at the big house at 8 at night I front of the biggest crowd in college football history. Not to mention they also homered him with the #98 jersey that night. That team and especially Gardner fed off that atmosphere.

I know, I know, but I hate losing to them so so much. Really believe we're better than them, too.

This is a perfect example of why the transitive property is useless in college football (or most sports). If UCONN didn't blow their lead against UM, then Towson > UCONN > UM > ND which means Towson > ND. College football doesn't work that way. Most CFB teams are schizophrenic from week to week as there are so many factors (e.g. home/away, night/day, time zones, styles of play, etc) that are constantly changing every week.

I believe our "problem" is we too often play to the level of our competition and our competition consistently plays close to their best game against us. Looking at the last 17 games, in which we are 15-2, there is evidence to support this (12 of 17 games decided by 17 points or less, many of which shouldn't be that close based on "talent"). This is a sign of a team that is not yet elite (truly top 8 in the country), including last year's NC team. I was hopeful we had turned that corner entering this season, but elite teams show a level of consistency we have not demonstrated the past four or 17 games.

This is also why I'm not worried about our 3-game stretch coming up or Stanford at the end of the year. That doesn't mean we will win each game, but I fully expect each team to be in all of those games until the 4th quarter which means the team that executes the best on that particular day will most likely win. Trying to predict who will execute the best is like trying to predict how a schizophrenic is going to act.

They will be, but they aren't the best team in the country at all. That defense and O-line is awful and will suck against real competition.

So that's the coaches fault for letting this team play to the level of the comp. With the talent on the is roster prove to them all that no one playing right now is irreplaceable. They need to make a hard core move to spark a fire under someones ***.

We aren't a top 20 team IMO.

Offensively what do we do well? Nothing comes to mind, maybe hope for penalties to move the ball downfield. I take that back we pass block pretty good, really good actually. Unfortunately we have a qb that can't make nothing happen with his legs & that kills us this is not the offense for Tommy.
