Pretty decent, but short, video. He demolishes some kids on it. Give it a look.

I like him as a guard. Probably would rather have Tray Allen (Texas) and James Wilson, but Pozderac isn't anyone John Latina can't develop.

If ND is planning on 3 tackles and 2 guards, my vote is for Wilson and Pozderac at guard.

If he half as good as his dad he will be a keeper.

Not hearing much about this anymore. He still only has one offer from Houston.

Pozderac might be 2-3 star quality and isn't elite. This seems to be the route ND is taking, so legacy or not, he might be a fallback option at best.

"I need to get back in touch with them," Pozderac said. "The visit was a lot of fun. I got to meet Charlie Weis and they were excited to see me. They said they were going to come down a few weeks ago to my spring practice to check me out."

Kid is dying for Notre Dame to notice him. Could he possibly be a walk-on if he doesn't get an offer?

TW gave Treg Duerson a full ride and he's nowhere near as good as Brian Smith and Pozderac.

I think room can be made for both of them in this class somehow.

Pozderac will transfer high schools, Dallas Episcopal from Carrollton Newman Smith.

Phil Pozderac told Rivals this:

"It's just not the right place for him at Newman Smith and even though I had some problems with scheming issues, that wasn't why we decided it would be best for Nic to move," Pozderac's father said. "This is just a better situation for him and it may condition him better to continue his football career."

Now here is the best part: Pozderac could gain a year of eligibility. He'll play this fall and again in the fall of 2007 making him a December 2007 graduate.

Now my question is: Is this move being made to help Nic gain an offer from Notre Dame?

An offer to ND or offers anywhere? He only has a Houston offer, I believe.

Clausen was held back in grade school to aid his development and others have done the same. Pozderac could walkon at ND (Admissions providing) and burn a year or two of Div 1 eligibility or more and not see the field. He can stay in high school (if he gets the extra year) without using up any Div 1 time as the NCAA clock starts with your graduating class build up his strength (I assume that's the issue) or improve his technique (Clausen has a private position coach) and improve his chances at ND or elsewhere in another year.

As a former Div 1 player (ND) I'll bet his dad has had conversation with college coaches and has a plan. Best wishes (and move him to the '08 profiles if he gets his HS extension).
