What color should ND fans wear to home games?

I think gold would be best. If it were somehow possible, it would be cool if 70 or so thousand people could wear gold and then the student section could remain green in contrast.

Navy doesn't really stick out as much, in my opinion.

I voted for the color green, although I was a bit hesitant due to the "Sea of Green" plan that blew up in our faces against BC. Sorry fellas, painful reminder I know.

All green stadium would look sweet though.

The team wore green the first time I saw them play in 1948..also a lot of green in the stands back then. I've associated green with ND ever since...

I remember bringing this up in a thread several months ago.

But a universal color would be nice. My concerns were always that you see a rainbow of colors being worn at ND stadium, whether it be blue green, white, purple, black, etc.

I personally liked that the Kelly green made all the fans at the stadium blend in together. Much like the red of Nebraska during that horrific sight back in September of 2000. The green jerseys are now dark green though.

I'll vote fore green. And I think everybody should wear it. Buy green shirts for September. A green sweater for October. And a green jacket for November.

I think it matters because it adds to the atmosphere.

And yes, Punishment, I had your thread in mind when I decided to make a poll. I had just watched the ND-USC game and couldn't help but notice the color wheel.

I wear whatever jersey strikes my fancy that morning...just got me a Bettis jersey off ebay a while back that I'm thinking of wearing to the PSU game.

I agree that one color would be great, at the fiesta bowl the Ohio State fans stood out with red, it looked like their was 3 times as many as ND. Notre Dame likes all the colors because how green ones would you buy? now you have to have blue ones gold, green white etc. get the point MONEY
