Canadians: How are you going to watch this weekend?

The game is on ESPN and it's not being picked up by TSN. I hate going to bars to watch the game. There are too many distractions. I'd pay to watch it online - but can't even find a way to do that.

Does anybody here know how the whole VPN thing works? Is it possible to use VPN to watch ESPN? Are there any other solutions? I hate the idea of watching it over a glitchy option like frontrowsports.

If anybody has a dependable solution - it will be greatly appreciated.

Won't it be on ESPN3.com?

Oh they have to carry it here (Canada) somewhere. A big game like this, a night game to boot.

From what I understand, you can't access ESPN3 without a US cable subscription.

Thanks. Yes. That's what I meant.

Yup, I have an american xfinity account from florida, but it doesn't work in Canada anymore.

Anyways, I have the game on TV through my sports package.

Bell has a NCAA package. I haven't missed or had to watch a ND game online since I got it!

Use a US VPN to use it again. I have a friends comcast account and thats how I do it. Damn ABC bumping the game to ESPN because of NASCAR, again!

My cable doesn't have ESPN at all and I would use first row sports but its tough to watch because I find it too blurry. I need to figure out a way to VPN so I can watch it on espn.com but I tried last weekend to watch the VT v Bama game and couldn't get it working. Is there a change the game is on the big ten network because I do have that.

Went to the site and it says not available in my region.

Lol its available here in Europe and not in canada? Lame :/ Looks like firstrow is your best bet this weekend. I had to watch the Temple game on it and it was terrible, just 1 stream and it went down about 5 times, i missed Hercules' TD :(

Really. NBCsports worked for me in the UK. The feed wasn't real good, and I was only able to watch 30 minutes or so before I had to leave the comforts of wifi, but it was there.

EDIT: But NBC sports wont cover away games, so I guess it doesn't matter in this case.

ABC will probably pick up the game, TSN rarely covers ND games anyways. Being from Toronto I get the ABC, NBC, Fox Buffalo channels so only once or twice a year there is an issue watching the game. The games in Boston College or Air Force usually aren't on Canadian cable.

Yup that's what I have so I'm set. For you other guys just go to firstrowsports or viplivebox. Or if you'd rather watch it in HD I'm sure you could go to a sports bar.

Thanks for all the replies. I've tried out some of the solutions. It doesn't help that my Macbook has slowed downed to a crawl the last two weeks. Right now, the best option I have is an XBMC addon called SportsDevil - but it seems very glitchy.
