How do you feel about the Irish maybe wearing a black jersey for a game this season??

Hate it. They have never worn them before and I think that it would be a horrible idea to start now. Don't like the Oakland Raiddddezzzzz look.

I have a black ND jersey that I usually wear once a year during a game that I feel the "blackshirts" need to be brought out. I wore it the day of the Tennessee game in 2005.

This year it will be Michigan, hands down.

yeah I agree with you...I like the black jersey idea...if i had to choose a game this season...it would be either Michigan or Penn St.

it's a tough call...but it worked for the basketball team. so why not

I like when the team wears Blue at home and White on the road. Personally, they could wear purple polka dots for all I care...as long as they win. I don't think the jersey color matters one way or the other. I thought the greens they wore against USC looked awesome.

As for wearing black, I'm not sure I'd recommend it for the team. If they do it, do it at home in November when it isn't hot out.

Doesn't make much sense to me to be honest... No tradition in it. I much prefer Blue or Green.

Don't like it. I would like to see a all gold jersey. I think that would be cool.

I do not see the harm in the black jersey. I just hope they never put last names on the backs of jerseys - hate that!

While they aren't to my liking, it the kids like them, so be it. Anytime you use an alternate jersey, it's a priviledge for the current players and that's the way it should be.

i think we should petition adidas to pull a nike and get a combination of uniforms over the season like oregon did...maybe toss in a leprechaun and a rainbow with a pot of gold somewhere on it.
