If you could meet one Irish player from any team, any time... who would it be? Why?

Chris Zorich - just been a fan of his for a long time and I think he's a good person as well as a good player.

I don't even think I need to answer this one...but Kevin McDougal hands down. I've been wanting to meet him my whole life.

The late Jeff Alm.

He was a local kid that was from the south suburbs and played at Sandburg HS. Just wish I could have spoken with him and possibly changed the course of events somehow.

Mike Golic - the guy just cracks me up. I bet he would have some fun stories to tell of his days at ND.

I was actually in law school with Chris, and can say that he is a very good guy. Makes one hell of a fried turkey.

For me though, it would have to be Tim Brown. If there was ever a player that deserved a championship, it was him. It's a shame he left ND the year before the NC, and it sucks that Al Davis let go of Gruden the year before the Raiders went to the Super Bowl.

i've met several guys in my short 23 yrs like bettis and rice. so i'm going to go with someone that would be a good drinking buddy. intense. hardcore. watches the games with you on saturday and has the same passion that leads to screaming fistpumping explosions of joy, as well as being tempted to throw your mug throw the tv....

jeff faine. the only GREAT player i remember from the dismal years.

the Irish fan in me wants to say Tim Brown, the Giants fan in me wants to say Mark Bavaro, and the pure football fan in me wants to say Joe Montana.

As for current players only, probly Brady. Maybe the recently departed Brandon Hoyte or Anthony Fasano b/c they're both Jersey-boys.
