Zibby's next foe is a Ohio State fan

An opponent has been named for Notre Dame safety Tom Zbikowski in his pro boxing debut June 10 at New York's Madison Square Garden. Heavyweight Robert Bell of Akron is 2-2 with all four bouts ending in knockouts, the last two being losses. Zbikowski had earlier quipped he hoped his opponent "to be announced" would be from the University of Southern California, Notre Dame's longtime gridiron rival. But Bell looks to be nearly as good a villain for the "Fighting Irish" standout and his teammates and fans who plan to attend the fight. Bell told promoters he is an Ohio State fan and will wear that team's football jersey into the ring. For those who may have forgotten, Ohio State beat Zbikowski's Irish 34-20 Jan. 2 in the Fiesta Bowl.
