The Preakness goes to 9 horses from the 20 at the Derby. Could be a different kind of race this time around.

Gary Stevens says Barbaro is the best horse he's seen in nearly 20 years. I'm going with Sweetnorthernsaint for the upset.

The Belmont is the killer, boys....a real gasser. Just ask Smarty Jones.

Well I did bad on my Derby picks as my horses finished 3,5,7 this year so I figure that my Preakness picks will be way off.

Well I picked horses 1 and 2 in correct order...overall my three picks went 1, 2, and 5. Makes up for my Derby debacle.

I took sweetnorthernsaint across the board, so I wont the place and show bets on that.

Such a shame about Barbaro. Hopefully he'll pull through okay and live to stud. Can't argue with that kind of life after your career ends.

If you've ever been to the track when a horse breaks his leg, as I have, it is always heartbreaking. I saw a horse literally break his leg almost clean off coming down the backstretch at Arlington International here in Chicago. Jockey got thrown and almost hit the rail. Ruined what was a pretty good ($$$$) day for Jigga.

Man, I almost lost all of my fake money. I can't buy a winner on this thing. This is why I stooped all betting other than the occassional poker game here and there.
