Ncaa says no to hash tags on the field

I am glad they did this so that the fields look good and professional. If they start putting adds on the field the game loses.

But at the same the NCAA is saying if anyone is going to make money it will be us.

I think they have more pressing issues than worrying about **** like this. Seems to be taking the government's lead and meddling in petty business while bigger problems go unnoticed. Just furthers the fact that the NCAA is a joke of an organization.

They didn't ban advertisements, just hashtags and URLs. The schools can still make money off of a company logo on the field.

You know the NCAA gets a cut of that sponsorship money, that is why they haven't banned it.

I do agree that having hashtags on the field is dumb, but even with that, I'm still screaming out #SuckMyD!ckNCAA

Can we pass a law saying no hashtags anywhere outside of Twitter? Including IE.

The stupid thing is that somewhere in there it says that the NCAA didn't ban hashtags, you just can't use them. Uh...OK.
