Obviously this class is loaded with elite talent, and the majority of that talent did not 'EE', and so we won't see them this Saturday at the B&G game.

Which class of 2013 player would you most like to see Saturday?

Bryant /folston

I'm already pretty confident with Eddie and Jaylon. So I'm more curious to see what Bryant and folston could do against higher competition.

are we talking about as a visitor or as someone who I wish wouldve EE and thus gone through winter workouts and spring practice?

I say Cole Luke if were talking about someone who I wish couldve EE... CB while solid last year, remains to be the weakest point of the Defense IMO... Not saying as a knock on KR (obviously) or Wood, but I would like to see Cole get in early and see if he could push his way into solid depth, make Wood/Jackson raise their game, or possibly pick up the defense so hell that he pulls a KR and earns some valuable time

Would love Jaylon as a visitor, kid just has a natural energy and it cant hurt with potential recruits

I also dont think EV or JS needed to EE for them to see time immediately, plus were not really hurting at OLB or DL. While they wouldve benefited, i think Luke couldve benefited the most and pushed our weakest spot to raise their game, thus improving the team overall.

On a related note, does anyone know if in fact any of the 2013 class will be in town for the spring game?

I guess I should have been more clear. Who do you wish you could see play on Saturday?

I went with Eddie V. I think he has enough talent and a nasty enough game attitude to step on the field and handle it.

I voted Jaylson, too. He has been my favorite recruit from way before he gave his verbal to ND. He has helped hold the Mob together and I think was extremely instrumental in getting a lot of guys who may not have committed to ND without his influence. Doesn't hurt that he is the best LB in the country, either. So though we don't need to see him play to know he will be great, I would have loved to see what he can do against a quality collegiate offense.

My vote goes to Jaylson also. Mainly because, as compared to the other options/big time recruits, I'm not sure how he will fit in physically. Obviously he's a top-notch athlete and has a ceiling as high as anybody, but as of the latest measurements I've seen, it still seems that he needs to pack on some bulk before being a prototypical fit for our defense. I'd like to see if his elite athleticism is enough to get around potentially needing to pack on another 10-20 pounds and I'd also like to see how his recent focus on packing on that bulk has been working out.

I voted for EV, but it was close between him and Redfield.

We know our DL is going to be great, but adding another really good/great player, EV as a freshman could make them unstoppable. Redfield for the reason mentioned above. If he's the ballhawking, super-athlete he's supposed to be, he's going to look sick behind our DL.

The B&G game makes for a poor defensive exposition, since Diaco uses very vanilla looks and doesn't do much blitzing.

So I'd go with Bryant. He'd have a better chance to shine than any of our other 5:s: recruits.

I gotta go with Max. Not only do I think he's special, I think he would benefit the most from having been in the system, playing that safety position.

If this is hypothetical, I'd like to see Billy Sims, Earl Campbell, Dick Butkus, Gale Sayers, and Bronco Nagurski.
