Vidal at USC or Penn St.?

Does anyone know if Vidal's Dad has made a decision yet for his son?

I talked to Vidal last night and he wants to keep this whole decision-making process as private as he can. He did tell me that it was okay to say that he was completely torn between Penn State and USC. One day he favors one, the next he goes back and he really needs to get back home (Thursday night) and talk things over with his family.

He might sign this weekend or it might go into next week.

The Vidal Hazelton saga takes another turn this afternoon.

The five-star wide receiver prospect whose letter-of-intent to USC was invalid because it did not have a parental signature on it, made a visit to Penn State on Saturday with his father, Dexter.

Hazelton was at the Penn State-Wisconsin basketball game on Saturday flanked by Penn State commitment Pat Devlin, freshman quarterback, Daryll Clark and cornerback Justin King.

He was also welcomed by Derrick Williams and Lydell Sargeant shortly after halftime.

This is Hazelton's third visit to Happy Valley since November. He made an unofficial visit on Nov. 29 and then an official on Dec. 9.

There was some talk of a third team entering the race. If Vidal remains undecided, will that happen?

"I don't want to open that up again," he said. "I told him he's got two schools, adding a third would just confuse things. I'm already sick of all of this and I think Vidal is getting tired of it too."

His father did not sign his letter to USC. Until a parent signs off, he can't go anywhere.
