My first (and last) experience at a horse track ended up with the horse I bet on in the first race leading by 3 or 4 horse lengths around the last turn...Breaking it's leg, throwing the jockey, and running around terrified for awhile until they calmed it down and gave it a lethal injection out on the track.

Hopefully you guys are luckier then me!
