I love Darius, but him at 25th surprised me. Not that he's not worthy. I just didn't realize the outside world thought as highly of him as we Domer homers do.

It makes sense, in this offense there isn't anything he doesn't do well. His next two years should be fun to watch.

Little surprised to see Ginn below the Shark on this list. Especially when Shark struggled in the Fiesta and Ginn carried to load for the Bucks. Must have been Ginn's shaky start of the season.

Ginn had a great game, and really a great end of the season, but Shark had a great season. Keep in mind how much better the defense was that the Irish offense was facing than the Buckeyes were. The fact that they put up more yards and points does not make them a better offense.

Ginn has huge potential, yes more than the Shark, but the Shark was a consensus all American in 05.

Guys who I think will fall by the end of the year:

4. QB Troy Smith, Sr. Ohio State
7. WR Ted Ginn Jr., Jr. Ohio State
15. RB Mike Hart, Jr. Michigan
19. QB Chris Leak, Sr. Florida
21. QB Drew Tate, Sr. Iowa
23. QB Rudy Carpenter/, ASU

I think Smith and Ginn are overrated. One great game against a piss-poor ND defense does not make you a heisman candidate in my mind. Hart is not as good as everyone thinks he is either, I don't think anyway. Leak is not suited for that offense. Tate an Iowa were supposed to be the next big things this year, so after the disappointing season both had this year I'm not willing to believe in either again until they prove it to me. And Carpenter shouldn't be on this list simply b/c he won't be starting next year when Keller gets healthy.

The interesting thing about the list is there are 8 QB's and only 1 defensive man listed. And this list is the TOP 25 PLAYERS? Looks like we're in for a lot of 42-38 games.

I count two linebackers, but you're exactly right. Strange.

Calvin Johnson is great, but he has Reggie Ball throwing him the ball, that would explain his ranking!

I think Mckinght will be up there by the end of the year. He has had a year to sit back and learn the offense. I think he will be very good next year.
