Not sure what is going on everyone. Both of us have no problem getting into dynasty and sending/receiving invites to the game. However, every time we got in and go to kickoff formation to start the game, we would get kicked out.

I just played a random ranked online game, so I know the connection should be fine. I'm starting to think it's a Dynasty server issue.

I'm fine with trying one more time tomorrow night, and if we can't do it, let Dre simulate it. It sucks, but this delay is getting ridiculous and I'm sure you guys are ready for the offseason.

To be honest Lion it could be anything, but you're probably right about the server. They've had various issues surrounding the NCG for awhile but it was my understanding they got it cleaned up. Last year's game you couldn't use custom playbooks in user vs. user NC games, but that's fixed now. I just played the NC this past Thursday with a user vs. user and there were no issues whatsoever.

I appreciate you guys giving it so many tries, and I also appreciate your willingness to simulate it if necessary to keep the train rolling. Hopefully they got into work at EA this morning, saw the server flashing a big "FU" message on the screen and reset it (or whatever semblance of maintenance these a-holes do) so you guys can play. We'll keep monitoring.

Like you Tulsa, I've very interested to see what types of jobs come open. From some research that Operation Sports did a little while back they determined that only five premium jobs open per season (or something like that). The CPU makes some amusing coaching changes for sure though. My other dynasty saw Urban Meyer get fired from Ohio State for not fulfilling his contract, and he went to New Mexico State (the likeliness of all scenarios!). Crazy.

I do use a custom playbook, so I can try using a team-specific playbook in case it's giving the server problems again. My playbook is based on Western Kentucky; I remove some power formations, and add some spread formations so I get the best of both worlds.

I'm also gonna fully reset my internet. Like I said I played a random game online to make sure online was fine, and it was, but you never know with connection speed/dynasty file transfer speeds and whatnot. Also, hopefully it shuts out my freeloading-internet-stealing neighbors for a while.

So if you're available for one more go tonight Rattlesnakes, I can play any time after 7.

Looks like they have some fast half-backs (92, 93 SPD upper class-men) and a couple quick wideouts (93, 94) that will still be around. Receiving tight ends too (82, 77, 87)... No idea about their recruiting class. Can't view it on Coaching Carousel Week for some RETARDED reason.

I thought about going after the South Carolina job... but their roster is the same as mine almost, with less depth and underclassmen.

Also, I'm anxious to get going on another user-vs-user game next season, to see if there is a glitch with Wisconsin's kickoff formation or ND's return formation. If both are acting fine, then it's a national championship glitch, witch I could burn EA to the ground for.

Fvcking simulation loss.

Yeah, it's some serious bull****. EA sucks, and unfortunately, is our only source for football games. Funny thing is, did you know some independent agency did a poll at the beginning of last year and they found EA Sports was one of the most reviled companies in America?! That's absolutely amazing (that it's a video game company) and yet SO true at the same time.

I want to keep the Big 12 a 2 user conference. I like it here...
I'd love South Carolina's alternate uni's....but my real life dislike of everything SEC will keep me away for now....next season who knows!

I want to be challenged more...and with Tulsa losing a lot of it's star players...I feel like this will be a harder season for me! Then I'll move to a stacked team.

BeauBenken was offered a position as the offensive coordinator for Buffalo, McManus was offered the Offensive Coordinator position for FAU and DomerLover3 was offered the Offensive Coordinator position at ASU.

Since all of those jobs are incredibly crappy compared to what they have I guessed and figured y'all would rather stay with what you have. LOL

When I was checking my "players leaving," I checked the coaching changes to see what interesting things have gone on.

I noticed that Pat Fitzgerald got fired at Northwestern, but was then hired by Oklahoma.

I also noticed that I have hired Gus Malzahn as my offensive coordinator... guess I have to go all-in with my mobile QB and spread formations, and compete with all you pass-happy users!

I vote for "Barbed Wire Beatdown" myself. My friends and I in our local dynasty always wished you could "make" a rivalry trophy in the game between two teams of your choice. We always wanted to make a Big XII trophy called "The Broken Belt Buckle". Seemed like something they would have in the Big XII.

The only problem I have with the word Beatdown is that it implies one team getting blown out...I don't foresee that happening with either of us....well maybe this year! Tulsa will be down a bit...but I will not leave them! Yet...
