Have to put in the League ID #, not the league name. Click on his hyperlink, and when you get that error message you should see the league number in the top left. Then go to join a league and enter that # along with the password and you should be good to go.

Let's get some more people signed up. Where are all the puck fans at?

Signed up.

However I am unavailable to draft during the day Mon-Thur. Would prefer an evening or weekend draft if that is acceptable.

I'm one of those already signed up. Weekend would really be better for me. Being in Alaska, we are 4 hours earlier than those of you on the east coast, so a weekday evening draft would have to be after 9PM Eastern to work for me. I wasn't looking forward to a 5AM draft (The 9AM Eastern original time), but, with enough coffee, could probably make it. Any time on the weekend is OK.

The draft time is flexible. I just had to choose something in order to start the league but can change. Season doesn;t start until the 19th so we have a little time.

I'll join.
Never played fantasy hockey, I'll have to do a bit of research on the scoring system to figure out what I'm doing.

It's pretty straight forward but I can adjust the settings to accommodate.

I see that:
C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, F, D, D, D, D, G, G, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR, IR

are listed as our roster.
questions:
-what's a BN?
-how many players are we starting a week?
-for example: are we drafting 2 centers, but only playing one? Then say, I drafted Crosby and when he goes down, do I then put him on IR and pick up another C?

just trying to figure out the basics.

So you start 12 guys and have 4 on the bench. (Maybe 6 if you count the IR).
just trying to figure out the basics.

Basically you are starting the players on the ice at any one time (assuming no powerplay) twice- 2 Centers, 2 Leftwings , 2RW, 4 defenders, 2 Goalies. 4 bench spots (BN). 2 IR (Injury Spots).

Gotcha.
-We're starting a top 6 and top 4 and both G.
-We are drafting four additional bench players (any position) and have two options for IR.

Then the scoring is accumulated for the week in a head to head game?

Is that where the strategy comes in looking at how many games your players actually play that given week?
