However, I do have to say, I have no idea how Alamo manages to rack up the offensive numbers he does because they are just pretty much inhuman. Not because it isn't possible to get them with the right amount of speed and money plays, but because you wouldn't think Tulsa's defense would get him the ball back enough times and the quarter length would be enough for it.
Currently, he has nearly 1,000 yards rushing and over 6,000 yards in passing with his quarterback! His wideout has 3,000 yards receiving. That's just plain incredible and like nothing I have ever seen in a video game, so kudos to you Alamo.
Anyway, for the rest of us who are fairly pedestrian to normal at this game...I just dispatched the smart kids from Northwestern. Let them go back to working on their thesis and stay the hell off my football field! I got my slightly above average HB to over a 1,000 in rushing, so that's good. And I have to say, for being as hyped as he is, T-Mobile is just not that great. He's alright, but he sure as hell isn't as fast and good at the option / zone read as you'd think, nor is he tremendously accurate.
With regards to recruiting, it just depends on what your building your team for. If you want to chew clock, run the ball and play lights out defense über speed on offense isn't all that necessary. It's nice, but it isn't necessary. However, strength and stamina are. Defensively, having speed at the corners is essential, but size really isn't as physics plays dick for a role in this game. Your 5' 11" corner will be just fine against their 6' 5" receiver in the Red Zone. But, speed (especially at the LB spots) and above all awareness really are essential. I'm rebuilding this Nebraska unit because quite frankly there isn't one cat I would give a Black Shirt to. Maybe, and it's a big maybe, my LILB.
