Richduck, I still think you're quacking up the wrong tree. Head on over to the West Virginia boards.
Does Oregon belong in a BCS bowl? Hell yes. Is Oregon getting screwed? Hell yes.
Is Oregon getting screwed
by Notre Dame? Hell no.
But since you're so hell-bent on this argument anyway...

Where are the quality wins that Oregon can offer??? How about Cal, Fresno State, and ASU.
Hang on a blessed minute. You're counting Arizona State as a quality win?
6-AND-5 ARIZONA STATE?!? I'm sorry, but if you get to count Arizona State as a quality win, we get to count 6-5 BYU and 6-4 (soon to be 7-4) Navy too. How 'bout we just agree on how asinine that would be and move on. BYU and Navy are not quality wins, and neither is Arizona State.
On strength of schedule... I just did some research. Notre Dame's oppenents this year combine for a record of 58-62 (.483), while Oregon's combine for a record of 65-57 (.533). But wait... that includes I-AA Montana and their 8-4 record. Take Montana away, and Oregon's I-A opponents are 57-53 (.518).
.518 versus .483. Yeah. That's a huge gap there. That's like arguing over the difference between Bob Davie and Ty Willingham.
But hey, we lost to 5-6 Michigan State at home.
But hey, you got absolutely pantsed by a team we took to the wire, USC.
How about that... a college football debate with no clear answer. What a surprise.
Bottom line? West Virgina stole your BCS spot this year Richduck, not Notre Dame. Take your squawking elsewhere.
