I've seen numerous "excuses" from Aggie Fans regarding the 3 interceptions that Manziel threw in the loss to LSU including one from Ag11 about some nonsensical excuse about some desperation heave/punt. I've watched the replay and I have no clue what he's talking about.

Below is the youtube of the game. There are 3 interceptions, 2 of which are all on Manziel. Also there was another throw in the red zone (left handed lol) that should've been picked off.

Pick 1 - 1:11:10 mark
Pick 2 - 1:51:30 mark
Near Pick - 2:21:10 mark. I have no clue what he was thinking
Pick 3 - 2:31:25 mark

If the Heisman voters would simply go back and watch the Florida and LSU games, maybe some of the Johnny "buzz" would wear off.

One part I think goes to Manti:

9.There will never be another two-time Heisman winner.

Since there are no active Heisman Trophy winners playing in 2012, this will not come into play as a factor in this year’s voting.

I actually would give this to Manti. Manziel being a fresh on the field, will probably contend for this award again if he keeps playing like this. So would voters vote for him this year, knowing how good he was as a fresh and he's likely to get another crack at it?? Advantage: Te'o

THIS. This pretty much says it all. And i dont care what anyone else says or thinks, Te'o definitely caused that fumble against Wake Forest on Calabrese's big hit.

Just some random stats...

There are 3 QBs alone in the SEC that actually have a better passer rating than Manziel.
Murray, McCarron and Shaw. Manziel is ranked 17th in the FBS.

QBs from OU, TT, Baylor, WV, Clemson, San Jose, LaTech, and Fresno all have more yards.

Bridgewater (louisville), Mariota, Fales (SJS), Geno Smith and Doege (TT) all have a better completion percentage.

I'll give Manziel credit, he is a really good QB. And he's probably going to get even better. But this shouldn't be is year, IMHO.

Well, it was nice joshing with you guys. It is all in fun. I wish ND luck and Manti the best in the NFL. Forget the Heisman though. It is over. A&M will be claiming that prize.

Just prep for Alabama/Georgia so you don't get pounded and embarrassed in front of the entire country. I actually think Georgia would be more dangerous for ND.

Ponder this thought. I heard it mentioned earlier that Desmond Howard said something about Manziels arrest. Does it make sense to anyone that many other voters (former winners) would shy away from voting for him this year? I mean, in the wake of the Bush/Heisman vacancy is there a chance that many of the voters want to shine up the image of the award a little?

ND is ****ing sweet and #1. ND has earned it and is not overrated at all. We are 12-0. Manti is sweet. If you refuse to see that because you're blinded by your loyalty to your own candidate then fine. But I'll say it, Manziel is sweet too. He's a great football player and probably one of the top 5 in college football, if not the best.

Get your heads out of your (and other SEC teams') asses and have some respect.

I agree with that PND. I actually like Manziel and was loving it while he trashed Bama at home. But now I lump some Aggie fans in with the rest of the SEC dilusionals. I have a high school buddy who was a grad assistant therevmany moons ago. He reminded me awhile back that the Aggies last meeting with the Irish didnt fare well for the Irish. Late 90s I think they hammered the Irish.

Steve Hartman, who has a Heisman vote, said on his radio show with Pat O'Brien today that his vote was going to Manti. He does feel that Manziel will win though, but did bring up Manziel's poor play in both 2nd halfs of their losses. This comes from a professed ND Hater who attended UCLA and whose father attended USC.
